After years & years of being ignored & let down by the states department of human services in 2021, my ex-husband & father of my 2 oldest children finally gave me all the proff I needed to prove he wasn't safe & was unfit to parent. As part of me was nervous to make yet another call in fear of being simply ignored & having to live through the abuse i knew we'd endure if my ex-husband could manipulate the investigation AGAIN! The mother in me knew i had to make the call & file the report, not only for my children I shared with my ex-husband but also for the others still unsafe in his home. I made the call reported that he'd been arrested for possession of methamphetamine at a time i could PROVE my children were in his care.
By the grace of God my family was assigned the most caring & dedicated investigator Wyatt (WE LOVE YOU, wherever you are) assigned to our very complex situation. He spent his first day on our case traveling to 3 different parts of the state to meet the all the kids involved & hear their horror stories. Within hours of starting this investigation, he called with the most incredible news stating that ALL of the children were no longer allowed contact with my ex-husband. We were then given off to our caseworker Amanda (bless her beautiful soul) who began helping us work through what would become an extremely gruling almost 3year China, sexual abuse & 7 unexpected adoption case. Almost 1 year into our China case, we were hit with evidence that NONE of our family expected. My ex-husband & current fience had been drugging & sexually abusing the children in their home who were not taught that their bodies belong to themselves & Noone else. They're weren't taught that they have the power to say no, that they were allowed to ask for help from a trusted adult. They didn't understand that the entire situation was wrong & unacceptable. Not only were they abused & let down by those who were supposed to teach, love & protect them most. They were threatened not to tell & told they were to blame. In learning all of this it became our newly built families passion to educate others on the rights & powers we all hold over our own bodies creating Kids Against Creeps!
